1) A list of famous Jews from Omsk (including details of their lifespan and professions) covering the time from 1846 to 2005; an extract from the Encyclopaedia of the Omsk region relating to the history of the Jews of the city; facts about the life of the community such as the date of the opening of the Jewish school, addresses of some architectural objects, information by the first Omsk paediatrician O. Lurie about his work in the "Vaad", information relating to cosmopolitanism and the approval of the activity of Jewish writers by E.I. Belenky. This material was collected for the publication of brochures on the activities of the organisation "Shalom - XXI century." The documents were compiled by Y. G. Birlyant.
2) A selection of materials and newspaper clippings about the various aspects of Jewish history in the Omsk and the world at large. Brief biographies of the revolutionary M.M. Rabinovich, prosecutor E.L. Rappoport, builder B. Cement, writer V.Y. Ozolin. There is also a collection of documents about the founder of Omsk TV I.A. Naroditsky (curriculum vitae, 2 photo portraits, fragment of an interview/memoirs). Collection of clippings from the local newspaper "Shalom" for different years, as well as other Omsk periodicals, including Jewish ones ( "Ahdut", "Hatikva") about the history of the Jewish community of Omsk: synagogues, Jews in Western Siberia in the 19th century, the Jewish samizdat in Siberia during the Soviet period.
3) "The layer of Jewish culture in Omsk urban space." The text consists of two chapters: People and Streets; applications and references in the manuscript have been lost. The chronological coverage of work is from 1825 to 1973. The paper presents some of the most famous personalities of Jewish origin living in Omsk during the whole period of existence of the community, mainly in the pre-revolutionary period. The second chapter provides an overview of architectural objects in the Omsk region of the residence of Jews in the pre-revolutionary period (Novoslobodsky Suburb).]]>
