- Ts account (48pp photocopies) of his life as a teenager in the Jewish ghetto in Lodz, Poland from February 1940 to July 1944 and in concentration camps at Auschwitz-Birkenau (July - November 1944), Neuengamme (Braunschweig Bussing Werke, November 1944 - February 1945; Wattenstadt Hermann Goring Werke, February - March 1945), Ravensbruck (March - April 1945) and Wobbelin (April - May 1945). It describes the daily life, work, diet, hardships, deaths (particularly the arbitary 'selections' for execution), deportations to camps, the role played by Jewish 'police' and German 'Kapos', the work of the Red Cross, hygiene and social effects of the experiences, as well as post war attitudes among survivors. An appendix includes an account of the brutality experienced/witnessed by Professor Louis Camu (an underground leader in occupied Flanders) in Wobbelin.
