- Brief memoir (20pp ts) of her childhood in Vienna, Austria, before the Second World War, emigration to the UK in February 1939, internment on the Isle of Man and subsequent wartime work in nurseries and children's hostels in England, contact with her family in Austria until 1942, and her search after the war for information regarding their fate; other documents including: a page removed from her German passport with her photograph and the letter J stamped on it; document confirming that she worked for a Social Democratic educational organisation in Vienna during 1928 - 1934; letter dated March 1941 from a private individual in Surrey offering to take her into his home until she has found employment; letter dated 1946 from the Jewish Religious Community in Vienna stating that her mother, brother and sister were deported to Minsk in May 1942 and are not recorded amongst the returnees; and two photographs.
