- Album (circa 75pp) containing written contributions, photographs and ephemera relating to her work as a World YMCA/YWCA worker attached to UNRRA caring for DPs in Germany, 1945 - 1947, including her own account of her work with particular reference to her efforts to establish kindergartens in DP camps and organise recreational facilities for the adults, as well as descriptions of her visits to Warburg children's home for Jewish children from Belsen concentration camp and to a Travemunde hospital where Polish children who had been abducted to be raised as Germans were being cared for, with photographs of the YWCA conference in Lubeck (1947), needlework groups, doll making competitions, DPs working in their trades in Wedel Camp, Hamburg, a summer camp for Latvian, Estonian, Yugoslav, and Polish children, orphans and refugees, repatriations, and names, signatures and photos of people at Kelsterton Hall; an account of the experiences of a young Jewish girl, 1938 - 1945, covering conditions in Vienna after the Anschluss and her imprisonment in concentration camps initially in Hungary and subsequently in Auschwitz and Belsen, with harrowing descriptions of camp procedure and the fate of her fellow inmates; together with a photocopied contemporary ts account (5pp) of the experiences of an unnamed Greek girl who was arrested with her mother in December 1944 by ELAS guerrillas, and, after narrowly escaping execution, had to endure forced marches and appalling conditions during a 19 day period as a hostage.
