- Privately printed memoir (140pp ts) covering his childhood in an impoverished Jewish family in the East End of London during the 1920s and early 1930s (his parents were immigrants from Poland and the Austro-Hungarian empire), education and medical studies in London, service as a Medical Officer in the RAMC during the Second World War, firstly in Northern Ireland and then with 140th Field Regiment RA in North Africa and Italy, 1942 - 1945, his last posting being as Senior MO to the Royal Jugoslav Army / Chetniks at Eboli, concluding with his postwar career as a GP in London and his life to the date of writing (2006) - Peter Mond was made a Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine and served as President of its General Practice section.
