- Collection of official documents (mostly in German) concerning Egon Fuerth, an Austrian Jew, and his (non-Jewish) wife, resident in Vienna before and during the Second World War, including some of his early school reports, testimonials from employers in the interwar period, 'Kennkarte' (Civilian ID Pass) issued to him in 1939, two copies of a certificate issued to Margarete Fuerth by the Nazi Party in Vienna in 1943 attesting to her German 'Aryan' racial credentials (and with a rubber-stamp indication that her husband is Jewish), their postwar official Identity Cards issued in Vienna in 1946, and some items of postwar correspondence concerning Egon Fuerth's deportation to the short-lived `Jewish settlement' at Nisko in German-occupied Poland in 1939 (he probably owed his survival to his 'mixed marriage').
