- Programme for a meeting organised by various Jewish groups in Chemnitz, eastern Germany, in November 1936 to promote support for Jewish settlement in Palestine, held in the city's Stephanplatz synagogue - the draft text of the welcoming address has been typed onto the programme (all in German); also a photostatic copy of a letter (2pp ts, in German) sent in November 1938 to the head of the Jewish Religious Community in Chemnitz, Josef Kahn, by the city Mayor's office, ordering him to organise the clearance of the ruins of the Stephanplatz synagogue (which had just been set alight during 'Kristallnacht' [Night of Broken Glass]), as these "endanger...public safety and create an eyesore in the immediate vicinity and in the wider area".
