- Papers relating to a German-Jewish refugee, comprising: various certificates relating to his childhood in Nuremberg in the 1920s; affidavit of support signed by a New York resident, dated 1938; letters of reference from employers and others, 1938 - 1939; papers dating from his internment in Hay Camp, Australia, including letters written to his mother, handmade greetings cards, copies of the Hay 'Camp News' and an example of an Australian Military Forces 'Report on Internee' form, 1940 - 1942; official forms concerning his claim for compensation from the German government, 1950; personal correspondence in English and German, 1945 - 1949; his Certificate of Registration in the UK, dated October 1942, copy of `Helpful Information and Guidance for every Refugee' and the 'Mourner's Kaddish', and various low-level papers.
