- The Circle was formed in London during the Second World War, a London based association of architect and engineer emigres from Nazi Europe. The aim was to promote professional and social contacts and develop and exchange professional knowledge and experience. It ceased to be an active society in 1968.Includes the correspondence of James Wolfson, as committee member 1943-1960, and as Hon. Sec. 1960-1981, and George Herman Lesser's file as Hon. Sec. 1958-1963.
