- The collections contains Documents (1561-1740) of the dyers guild (statutes and guild regulations), letters of legitimate birth and the learning of crafts, ownership and disputes. There are no directly Jewish-related records.
- Archival history:
- In the second half of the In the 19th century, the state authorities had the materials that were stored in the municipal archives of Rudna transferred in the form of a deposit to the State Archives in Wrocław. They were held there in the collection Rep. 132a. The materials were taken out of Wrocław during World War II. After the war, they were taken over by the archival services of East Germany (later the German Democratic Republic). They were returned to Wrocław in 1980.
- Administrative/biographical history:
- Rudna was formerly a town and is now a village in Lubin county. The town was founded around 1300. It played the role of an administrative and economic centre. A castle was built in the town In the 14th century, and it was surrounded by ramparts in the 16th century. In 1871, the town was connected with Legnica and Głogów by railway, and then with Ścinawa in 1874.
