documents granting desmesne estates, receipts, sales, purchases, pledges, wills and inheritance cases (1412-1826), 79 archival files;
matters of great landed property - guardianship, wills, property assignments, adoptions, wills, pledges, purchase, sale (1613-1848), 77 archival files;
personnel matters regarding judges, lawyers and legal advisors, etc. (1880-1928), 424 archival files;

The materials included in the collection were produced and collected by the judicial administration. The Higher National Court took over the records of the higher provincial courts, especially those relating to the nobility in the feudal system. It was also the body designated to compile the personnel records of state court judges.
Before World War II, the records in this collection were part of the Staatsarchiv Breslau, Rep. 222. During World War II the records were dispersed for protection and stored in different places; part of them were destroyed. After the war, the records became the legal property of the successor of the same, i.e. the State Archive in Wrocław.
There is a recent index, which repeats (?) the order of the older original case registers that are the basis for the reference numbers of extant archival files.
- Administrative/biographical history:
- The Higher National Court in Wrocław served as an appeal court in the third instance for the Province of Silesia and performed this role in relation to 14 National Courts in the Province and 120 Regional Courts (first instance). The court consisted of two chambers: for civil and for criminal matters. The Civil Service Department (Senate) considered appeals and complaints against judgments of lower national courts. The Department (Senate) for criminal matters operated as a court of first instance in cases of accusation of high treason and violation of military secret. It was generally the third instance for the lower courts in the Province. The court was active until May 1945.
