- This collection comprises material relating to Irma Lange, nee Miskolczy, and her son Hanns Lange. It contains: copy of the typescript life history of Irma Lange: "Ein Blatt im Winde", n.d.; family trees compiled by Hanns Lange; typescript biographies, in German, of family members; correspondence with a cousin Ernst with regard to family history; copies of photographs of Walter Lange's fur shop in Berlin and of the interior of the Lange family house, 1980-5; photographs, including black and white of Hanns Lange as a young man, one black and white of his wife Edna as a young woman, 1932, colour photographs of Hanns and Edna, of Hanns and his mother, of Hanns with Ernst Dorman, 1932-2002; correspondence, mainly in German, 1934-6, 1941-2, including letters and postcards from Hanns Lange to his father Walter in Germany, 3 Mar 1934-14 Nov 1936; letter to Hanns Lange whilst interned on the Isle of Man, 1941-1; newspaper cuttings, maps for Shanklin evening tour and postcard, 1927-42.
