The collection contains series of papers: general family papers, a large series of papers of individuals and business papers.
The general family papers, 1850-1965, include genealogical papers; albums of photographs, of individuals, 1860s-70, of the countryside, riders for a hunt, of members of the Montefiore family and of scenery in Great Britain, Switzerland and France, c.1906, and of pictures hung in various rooms at 139 Harley Street, 1872; a scrapbook, 1855-1922, which includes two copies of a silhouette of Alice R Henriques, 1911; dance cards, 1868-78; correspondence, 1855-1957.
