- This collection includes minutes, expenditure accounts, income accounts, AGM agendas, appeal letter, burial register, lists, indexes and plans of burials at Bishopwearmouth Cemetery, digital photographs of headstones, indexes of deaths, and grave plans.

- Administrative/biographical history:
- The association that deals with the burial of the dead, this was first organised on a proper basis in 1869. From 1892 the Chevra covered both the "Israelite" synagogue and the Beth Hamedrash. At different times three separate plots at Bishopwearmouth Cemetery were used for burials.
