- The collection includes minutes, reports, orders of service, members list, programmes, constitutional records, committee records, membership records, publicity and newspaper clipping files, event files, and photographs.

- Administrative/biographical history:
- Formed in the early 1930s to counteract propaganda of the British Union of Fascists that Jews had not fought in the first world war. The first Newcastle parade and march of ex-servicemen took place in 1934. Subsequently the Association (AJEX) became more involved in welfare and charitable work including relief work in local hospitals at Christmas and work with Israeli ex-service personnel.
