- This collection includes minutes, rules, annual balance sheets and accounts, marriage registers, index of marriages, voting papers and lists, and photographs.

- Administrative/biographical history:
- The Beth Hamedrash was founded in Villiers Street in 1891 by newer immigrants who were more orthodox in their practices than the existing Hebrew Congregation, and split off from it. It later moved to Mowbray Road and is also known as Mowbray Road Synagogue. It closed in December 1984 and became incorporated with the Sunderland Hebrew Congregation (see C.SU74).
