- Administrative/biographical history:
- Léon Litwinski (1887-1969) was a Polish diplomat stationed in Belgium – i.a. as the economic advisor to the Polish legation in Brussels (1930s). In 1940 he was appointed as a diplomat in Brussels by the exiled Polish government. Litwinski stayed in Portugal (ca. 1941-1946) during the Second World War. After the war (in 1947?) he returned to Belgium. Léon Litwinski published several works on economy and psychology. (M.-R. Thielemans, Léon Litwinski (1912-1967), T 32, Brussel, ARA-AGR, 1988.)
