- Jean Goldstein (?-1918) moved from Paris to Brussels, where he opened an independent business, which was dissolved in 1910. Goldstein subsequently started working as a tailor for women, based in the rue Royale and later the boulevard du Jardin Botanique. It seems that in 1917 Goldstein founded a branch of the firm Pfohl & Steinwasser from Cologne in the rue Neuve. This firm produced military uniforms but also weapons and saddles. (K. Carrein, F.
