- Scope and content:
- We firstly mention the file no. 17.49 (1939-1964) related to Lode Craeybeckx – a file that mainly concerns the incident between the latter and the Jewish community in 1964. Nr. 19.83 (1976) consists of press cuttings and a note related to amendments on a legislative proposal 842 (for modification of the electoral law), including giving Jews the possibility of voting by proxy (volmacht) when the elections coincide with religious holidays. Nr. 415 (1972-1985) is file concerning Sam Herciger, artist and friend of Geldolf. The file no. 416 (1978-2005) relates to the restauration of the sculpture ‘De Handen’ by Herciger, vandalised in 2003. Nr. 417 (2000) contains a letter by Hercigers widow Edith Herciger-Beck. Lastly, we note the file no. 418 which contains an ex-libris of Wim Geldolf, designed by Herciger.

- Administrative/biographical history:
- Wim Geldolf (born 1928) is a socialist politician. He was a member of parliament (1968-1979) and coopted senator (1983-1985). He has been an honorary senator since 1985. Apart from his political career, Geldolf is the author of various historical studies i.a. concerning Camille Huysmans.
