- In no. D3867(2) we find a file titled “Jews” (1974-1978). It contains mainly correspondence, texts, notes, documentation, etc. The documents related mainly to the inter-religious dialogue between Christians and Jews, and concern i.a. the following organisations: Central Jewish Consistory of Belgium, Belgisch Israëlitisch Weekblad, International Council of Christians and Jews, Nationale Katholieke Commissie voor de betrekkingen tussen Christenen en Joden, American Jewish Committee, Interconfessioneel Contact and Deutscher Koordinierungsrat der Gesellschaften für Christlich-Jüdische Zusammenarbeit.
- Administrative/biographical history:
- Joris Dedeurwaerder (born 1935) was a teacher and later functionary at the Cultuurraad van de Nederlandse Cultuurgemeenschap (1974-1994) and the Vlaamse Raad (1980), and clerk of the Interparlementaire Commissie van de Nederlandse Taalunie (1981-1995). Dedeurwaerder was editor in chief of Ons Verbond (1957-1958). He wrote articles on the history of the Flemish movement for Neerlandia, the periodical of the Algemeen-Nederlands Verbond, for which he also served as an editor (1994) and editor in chief (since 1995).
