- The Éclaireurs israélites de Belgique (‘Jewish scouts of Belgium’) were a Jewish scouting group, founded in 1988 by Albert Fressel. From 1988 to 2001, the Jewish scouts and girl scouts of Belgium, grouped in the 323e Unité Joseph Wybran of the Fédération des Scouts et Guides Pluralistes de Belgique, carried out educational activities within the Jewish youth. Their goal was to educate young Jews and make them aware of their Judaism and role in society. The unit brought together young Jews from all over the country in several sections, respectively for children aged 8 to 11, 11 to 16 and over 16. In 1997 its name was changed to 28e Unité des Scouts marins “Cap au 130”. (Fonds Éclaireurs israélites de Belgique (BE / MJB / Fonds Éclaireurs israélites de Belgique); A. Cherton, "Don.
