- For this guide the large series of correspondence of king Albert and especially of queen Elisabeth is of importance. We find correspondence with both Belgians as non-Belgians; see for example no. 267 and 647 (with L. Bernheim), 671 (Moshé Kol of the Youth Aliyah), 681 (the Errera family), 683 (o.a. Justin Godart, honorary president of the Comité mondial pour l’Érection du tombeau du martyr juif inconnu and Nico Gunzburg); 695 (de Rothschild Lambert); 609, 619, 680, 692 (Albert Einstein).
- Administrative/biographical history:
- The private secretariat (1831-present) of the King and Queen is responsible for managing the private interests of these persons and should not be confused with the official secretariat of the monarch.
