The extant records of the Administrative District Office (Landratsamt) of Reichenbach (now Dzierżoniów) concern administrative affairs, elections to legislative bodies and municipal matters of the District, whose area expanded in 1932 as the District of Nimptsch (now Niemcza) was dissolved. The office of Reichenbach’s District Administration ceased operating in April 1945 as the German administration was abolished.

- In 1946 and 1950, the Landratsamt dossier became part of the State Archive of Wroclaw. It is presently stored at its branch in Kamieniec-Ząbkowicki.
- Administrative/biographical history:
- The Administrative District Office of Reichenbach im Eulengebirge (now Dzierżoniów was originally established as a second-instance state administration office, consisting of departments in charge of handling the respective matters as laid down in the Office’s in-house instructions. As of 1933, it included the following departments: general; health; overground construction; accountancy and auditing; taxation; social care; youth care; road construction; land improvement; construction of water structures; construction of housing units.
