- This fonds comprises the records of the United Unions of Sighet from 1945 to 1950. It includes lists of union members from public health institutions, schools, transport and communication fields, cooperation, commerce, state farms, industrial enterprises from Sighet, records of the meetings of the leadership of the organisation, reports of activity, information about social, cultural and sport events organised by the unions, budget sheets, payrolls of the employees of the union and dues paid by the members. Among the members and the leadership of the Union movement appear a considerable number of Jewish persons from the over 5,000 survivors of the Holocaust from Maramureş county.
