- The inventoried fonds is preserved in the Romanian National Archives, Directorate of Sălaj County.
- Administrative/biographical history:
- The Cehu Silvaniei industrial gymnasium for boys was organised in accordance with the Romanian law of secondary education imposed by secretary of education Constantin Anghelescu. Classes were taught in Romanian. In 1940, when northern Transylvania, including Sălaj County, became part of Hungary again, the Hungarian system of education was introduced and the school ceased its activity. After 1944, under the renewed Romanian administration, the school reopened and functioned until 1948 when the new communist regime’s reforms radically changed the organisation and structure of the education system.
