- The collection contains orders of the Department of Art Affairs at the Soviet of People's Commissars, the Ministry of Culture of the RSFSR; the decisions and orders of the executive committee relating to the activities of the philharmonic; orders of the director of the philharmonic; minutes of meetings of the arts council; planned shows of the Omsk philharmonic and state philharmonic; tour service; lists of actors (1941-42); lists of employees with the honourary title Honoured Artist of the RSFSR (1970); and lists of creative staff of the philharmonic with full personal data (1970-1990s). Included are personal files of actress V.I. Bogatsky (1947-73), artist B.I. Alper (1967-74), chief conductor S.A. Kogan (1961-76) and Honoured Artist of the RSFSR Y.A. Kolomeiskii (1952-80). Video materials on DVD include: the opening of the 3rd Jazz Festival under the direction of Daniel Kramer, 30 November 2006; the project "Stradivari Violin", dedicated to the 40th anniversary of the Omsk Academic Symphony Orchestra, soloist Elena Revich, violin, Moscow, 8 December 2006; a concert by Alexander Winitzki, Moscow, 1 March 2007; the anniversary evening of Gennady Habensky with the Omsk Academic Symphony Orchestra, 25 January 2008; and a recital by Honoured Artist of Russia Garry Grodberg, organ, 17 December 2008. Also included are photographs of I. Kobzon, Y. Frankel (1986), director of the Omsk State Musical Theatre B.L. Rothberg (2000), Honoured Artist of Russia G.N. Bazilevsky, head of the Omsk Chamber Orchestra and Honoured Worker of Culture of Russia V.B. Renkonchinsky (2002, 2006), pianist D. Kramer (2002, 2010), concertmaster of stringed instruments of the Omsk Academic Symphony Orchestra G.Y. Habensky (2006), organist N. Baginskaya (2008), the unveiling of a memorial plaque of Home Staging of the Omsk State Russian Folk Choir, Honoured Artist of the RSFSR and winner of the State Prize n.a. M.I. Glinka Y. Kolomeiskii (2008), conductor and People's Artist of Russia S. Kogan (2009), composer I. Heifetz, a press conference of artistic director and principal conductor of the Omsk Academic Symphony Orchestra Dmitry Vasilyev and composer Ilya Heifetz (Israel) (2010, Omsk), 2nd Festival of New Music, composer Ilya Heifetz in the concert hall of the Omsk Philharmonic (2010, Omsk). Inventory 2 contains personnel files for 1942-43 including Y. Gurevich, G.S. Lyando, B.M. Nemirovsky and L.M. Shofer.

- Omsk Philharmonic was founded in 1939 as a concert bureau. It was an independent creative organisation responsible for the management of culture in the executive committee of the Omsk Oblast Council of People's Deputies. The society organised concerts and tours in Russia and abroad. The organisation included the Omsk State Russian Folk Choir, a symphony orchestra and the band "On the stage of Omsk".
