The collection includes standard forms of the teaching staff and research workers, checklists, protocols, committee meetings, plans and reports on the distribution of young professionals (1940s-1990s).
Inventory number 2 covers the scientific and technical documentation, according to which the supervisors were L.A. Izmailovich, L.S. Herets, G.A. Venderovich, B. Kushner, Y.Y. Shuster and V.L. Greenblatt.
Inventory number 3 covers personal files of the teaching staff for 1942-1971, including the following files: V.I. Volvich (1946-1948), I.I. Gordon (1943-1944), L.A. Izrailevich (1949-1965) and S.I. Preygerzon (1948-1951).
Inventory number 4 covers the personal files of students for 1952-1976, including files of Y.I. Landa (1965-1970).
Inventory number 5 covers a collection of certificates and diplomas of secondary education for 1927-1955, Including documents of D.G. Kaplan (1939), S.M. Lazarev (1941), M.E. Khatin (1941), R.S. Sitkovetsky (1943) and N.V. Shpakshteyn (1948).

- Omsk Engineering Institute was established on the basis of the Voroshilovgrad Evening Machine Building Institute, evacuated to the city of Omsk in October 1941 (Council of People's Commissars of the USSR Decree number 1828 of 16 November 1942, and order for reorganisation 288/533 from 21 November 1942). By order of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialised Education of the RSFSR № 470 of 19 July 1963, Omsk Engineering Institute was reorganised into the Omsk Polytechnic Institute. After the state certification in 1992 on the orders of the Russian Federation State Committee for Higher Education № 55 on 5 July 1993, Omsk Polytechnic Institute was renamed the Omsk State Technical University.
