- The collection contains personal files of employees for 1932-1956, including: I.Y. Lerner (Head of the Department of History, 1941-1942), M. M. Mayants (Associate Professor, Department of Pedagogy, 1935-1940), Y. Pershytz (Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Physics, 1940-1947), L.I. Soroka (teacher of English, 1950-1952); M.S. Tsivin (senior lecturer of History, 1943-1953); M.I. Yudalevich (lecturer of the Department of Literature and Russian Language, 1940-1945). Personal files of the lecturers contain the following documents: personal files of scientist, biographies, certificates, extracts from reports and orders (at the institute), letters, telegrams, statements, certificates, petitions, memoranda, forms, characteristics. The collection also includes forms of the teaching staff from the 1990s.

- Omsk State Pedagogical Institute was established by the decision of the People's Commissars of the Council in 1932. By order of the All-Russian Central Executive Committee № 48 dated 10 July 1936, Omsk Pedagogical Institute was named after Maxim Gorky.
