The collection includes circulars of the People's Commissariat of Justice, the Supreme Tribulation of the All-Russian Central Executive Committee; orders of the Department of Justice; minutes of meetings of provincial revolutionary committee [gubrevkom]; lists of counter-revolutionaries, supporters of Kolchak, minutes of meetings on fighting with banditism. Most of the collection contains personal files of individuals charged by the Tribunal for various reasons such as counter-revolutionary activities, desertion, non-payment of taxes, shooting of Red Army soldiers, provocations, banditry, the discrediting of the Soviet power, sabotage, non-fulfilment of orders. This comprises more than 3,200 files, only 8 of which are about persons of Jewish nationality.
Personal files include a search warrant of Omsk provincial special committee, a detention sheet, certificate of employment, certificate of participation in the activity of public organisations, personal photographs, the receipt of charitable contributions by a Jewish house of worship, telegrams, original passports, various petitions of the Omsk Jewish synagogue and the profile of an arrested person which contains personal data, place of residence, ethnicity, family composition, presence of relatives in the Red and White army, party affiliation, occupation, property, place of work and criminal record.
The collection also contains personal files of the staff of the Tribunal, including Jews. Private files of employees include a questionnaire with personal data, social origin, marital status, education, occupation, information on activity during the February and October revolutions, experience in the Tribunal, extracts of orders, reports on service and service certificates.
