The collection includes documents of Council departments; state information confidential summaries; political information; personnel documents; information on the organisation of provincial council of national economics [gubsovnarkhoz]; reports of the department of food; materials; circulars; reports; correspondence of departments; meetings of the department board of gubsovnaroz; lists of enterprises not nationalised; questionnaires; contracts with businesses, including correspondence with the former distillery Haimovich about renting, repair and commissioning of the plant (1919-1920); correspondence with the chemical factory for the restoration of the brewery named after V. Jurgenson (1923) including statements, correspondence with chemical department, acts of acceptance, lists of equipment and estimates; documents relating to the lease of the state mechanical roller mill of Shpikelman to the workers' cooperative of the union of food industry (Tatarsk) in 1922; records of the organisation of the cooperative farm "Forward" to repair typewriters in Omsk (1922).
It also contains personal files of Jewish employees of the organization, which incldues place of birth, social status and origin, party affiliation, religion, residence before the revolution, attitude to the October revolution, participation in the armed struggle against the Red army, parents’ property, education, position, marital status, family members abroad, participation in the Civil war, participation in the professional union, certificates, applications for leave, applications for the issuance of advances, extracts from orders, memos, list of securities to be executed and others.

- Administrative/biographical history:
- Omsk Provincial Council of National Economy was held on 15-28 November 1919. OPCNE was in charge of the economic life of the province and was the executive body of the Supreme Economic Council in Omsk, acting under the supervision of the executive committee, and later became one of its departments. In early 1923 the Presidium was abolished. On 1 January 1924 OPCNE merged with the provincial department of public utilities into the local economy department at provincial executive committee and ceased to exist as an independent control authority.
