Scope and content:: The collection contains decrees of the Central Executive Committee and Soviet of People's Commissars, circulars, instructions of Central Statistical Administration and correspondence about the organisation and activities of the provincial and district statistical offices. Regulation and protocols and the Siberian and Omsk revolutionary committees, boards of provincial statistical bureau, conferences on statistics. Minutes of meetings of the Omsk provincial and county expert commissions of provincial economic conference [gubekoso], provincial tax commission. Reports and records of the provincial statistical bureau, its sections and district statistical offices. Documents regarding the All-Russian population census of 1920 in Omsk province. Materials on the urban population census in 1923. Information on the population, including national, social, and age composition, of Cherlaksky county(1923). List of Tara County townships, indicating the population and national composition (1924-1925). Inventory 2 contains lists of employees in the institutions of the Department of Omsk provincial revolutionary committee, personal cards of participants of congresses and conferences (1920), personal registration cards of statisticians of provincial and district statistical bureaus, institutions and enterprises, including Jews.

Archival history:: Materials were added to the archive as part of the standard local process.

Administrative/biographical history:: The statistical bureau was formed in December 1919 through the merger of the statistical authorities of Akmola regional administration and the regional councils. On 1 October 1925 the Bureau transferred its functions to the Omsk District Bureau of Statistics.
