- The collection includes lists of faculty members of the Omsk Medical Institute and scientific papers of B A Shatsillo, A E Leibenson, A J Goldenberg, M P Gluzman, M M Tsehanovitser, Z I Wolfson, A B Silberstein and I I Rozlovsky (1930). It also contains personal files of students as well as employees and faculty members of the Institute, including professors I S Pentman (1921 - 1933), Y U Leybchik (1930-1937), I M Pincus (1933 -1937), A Bernstein (1937-1938), L I Fogelson (1941-1943) , Z I Israelson (1941-1943), V N Gimmelman (1921-1946), E Kogan (1945-1948), A B Lekakh (1944-1948), D M Labok (1954-1955), I V Lysakovsky (1934-1948), M S Rabinovich (1933-1952), M E Vinnikov (1939-1963), M P Vilansky (1960-1965), T L Mariupolskaya (1923-1966) and A B Gilerson (1949-1968).

- Administrative/biographical history:
- In November 1920, with the approval of Sibrevkom, a medical department was organised at the existing Siberian Omsk Veterinary and Animal Husbandry Institute. On 12 August 1921 it was transformed into a branch of the Omsk State Medical Institute of the USSR People's Commissariat of Education. On 27 November 1921 the Institute was renamed the State West Siberian Medical University and in 1924 as the Omsk State Medical Institute. For achievements in medical training the institute was named after Kalinin in 1936. In 1994 the Institute got the status of State Medical Academy.
