- The collection provides information on the activities of the senior notary of Omsk district court, including his contacts with the Jewish legal and business world in Omsk as well as in Central Russia. Included are letters, petitions of townspeople (including the Jews of Omsk regarding lifting a ban on real estate), mortgage certificates, inquiries, papers of the notary Leonty Samoilovich Mariupolsky, tradesman Isaiah Iosifovich Slutsky, a petition of Troitsky tradesman Itska Slutsky and a collateral certificate of Omsk tradesman Eli Abramovich Golubev.

- The range of activities of notaries included the approval of serfs certificates, contracts made by notarial procedure, spiritual testament, protests of bills, borrowing letters and documents of sale, mortgage and real estate. After the October Revolution 1917, Omsk District Court was abolished and a new stage in the development of the notarial deeds in Omsk and the Omsk region began.
