Scope and content:: The collection contains minutes of meetings, mandates for Committee officials of the Chamber, annual reports of city banks and credit institutions, tax statements, circulars of the management of the state savings banks, documents, reports of treasuries, circulars on matters of conscription, reports of the Treasury Chamber, including documents on the economic activity of Jews in Siberia and personnel files of Jewish employees of the Chamber, including credentials of service, with detailed personal data on origin, education, marital status, participation in hostilities, criminal record, place and time of vacations, positions held and retirement.

Archival history:: The documents stored at the Treasury Chamber were transferred to the state archive in 1920.

Administrative/biographical history:: The Omsk county treasury became responsible for city finances in 1838. The Chamber was established in 1889, but was originally under control of Tobolsk. The Chamber in Omsk was created in 1899 and housed in a dedicated building from 1900. It was abolished by the Soviet government in 1918, restored by the Kolchak government in 1919 but dissolved completely later that year.
