- The collection contains various court cases from the royal judiciary (Judicat) in Sibiu, which heard cases between residents on a variety of topics ranging from personal and civil matters such as divorce and property disputes to criminal cases, matters relating to the settling of border disputes between various towns and other geographic units and more unusual topics such as witchcraft.
