Scope and content:: This collection consists of the records of an organisation of ethnic Saxons, founded by Fritz Fabritius, which had ties with antisemitic National Socialist groups in Germany, as well as with nationalist and antisemitic Romanian organisations. Particularly illuminating is an exchange of letters between Fabritius and A.C. Cuza in which Cuza expresses his antisemitic sentiments. Also of note are some bylaws from the Nachbarschaften (formal neighbourhood associations), institutions which can be traced back to the Transylvanian Saxon communities of the middle ages, but which were revived as ethnic-based National Socialist organisations in the 1930s.
