- Administrative/biographical history:
- The Estates Committee (German: Landesausschuss in Lemberg; Polish: Wydzial Stanowy we Lwowie) was the executive body of the Galician Estates Diet, founded in 1775. It consisted of four departments that dealt with education, administration, public income, and registers of the nobility (szlachta). The committee consisted of two representatives from the clergy, magnates, and nobility, and one from the city patriciate. The committee was chaired by the governor. The committee was liquidated along with the Galician Estates Diet in 1845.
