- The fonds contains notifications to the tax administration from the Stryj Judenrat and the Bolechów (Bolekhiv) municipal and rural administrations (Stryj area) to the effect that it would be impossible to make tax assessments on such Jewish residents of these localities as were deceased or had departed “for places unknown” (1942; no. 1).

- These tax agencies were established by the German occupation administration in 1941 to oversee the payment of taxes and duties. They were abolished in 1944 upon the region’s liberation from German occupation.
