- Materials housed in the fonds include a letter of the area education department’s inspector for national-minority affairs (12 July 1923) requesting that, “pursuant to the area education department’s decree mandating Jewish nativization [evreizatsiia] of Jewish children’s shelters, employees of Kherson children’s shelters nos. 6 and 7 “who do not speak Yiddish” should be dismissed; and a letter of the Berislav District Union of Education Workers (Rabotpros) in support of one Godlevskii, manager of a Jewish school in the colony of L’vovo, who had been fired “for being unable to teach in Yiddish” (November 1923); a report of the Snigirevka District Rabotpros Committee (4 March 1924) containing information on the children’s shelter in the Jewish colony of Bobrovyi Kut (at which “forty homeless children have full board and lodging”); lists of teachers of Kherson’s Jewish vocational-technical school (1924); questionnaire forms of Jewish teachers serving as delegates to the 3rd area congress of education workers (1925); etc.

- Such branches of sectoral industry unions were established in March 1923 upon the formation of the Kherson area. Elected at area congress of labour unions, they originally answered to the Odessa Provincial Council of Labor Unions; and from June 1925 on, to the All-Ukrainian Central Council of Labor Unions (VUTsSPS). They had oversight of district branches of sectoral unions under their jurisdiction, and monitored the operations thereof. They were dissolved in 1930 upon the liquidation of the Kherson area.
