- Documents that have been discovered include instructions of the police chief of Akkerman county’s third precinct barring Jews from living in the village of Borodino (1891).
- Administrative/biographical history:
- Village administrations were established in Akkerman county in 1872. They were in charge of apportioning and partitioning communal land, distributing crops, collecting state and zemstvo taxes, and reassigning peasants from one village commune to another; and they saw to the fulfilment of peasant obligations; etc. They were reorganised as village committees in 1917 and renamed village administrations [upravy] in 1918. They were liquidated in 1919.
