- Included in the fonds (op. 1) are payment sheets for state insurance of structures of the Nikolaev Jewish house of worship for 1923-24 and 1927-29; and reports by the congregation regarding insurance of these structures, and designs and appraisals thereof (1924-27).
- Administrative/biographical history:
- This was formed in 1930 as a department of the Nikolaev Municipal Council of Workers’, Peasants’, and Red Army Deputies (from 1939 on, of the Executive Committee of the Nikolaev Municipal Council of Toilers’ Deputies; from 1977 on, of People’s Deputies; and from 1996 on, of the Executive Committee of the Nikolaev Municipal Council). It drew up the city budget and monitored its implementation; enforced fiscal discipline on the part of enterprises and organisations; etc.
