- Documents housed (op. 1-2) include an order of the Volhynia Wojewodship Detachment of the State Police regarding surveillance of an Orthodox clergyman engaged in missionary agitation among the Jewish population (1925); information on surveillance of Jews suspected of communist activity; the financial statement of a slaughterers’ cooperative (1933); the budget of the Jewish community of Zdolbunov (1938-39); etc.
- Administrative/biographical history:
- Established in 1920, county state police detachments were headed by commandants and were under the jurisdiction of the Volhynia Wojewodship Detachment of the State Police, being also executive bodies of county administrations on issues of public safety. They maintained law and order in the territory under their jurisdiction, collected information on illegal political movements, conducted investigations, etc. They were liquidated in September 1939.
