It was restored in 1831. It was under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Justice and was the highest instance in the province for superior and county courts and superior correctional courts [verkhnie raspravy], as well as for municipalities. It heard and decided criminal cases on appeal and by way of review from courts in its jurisdiction.
