- Included (op. 1, 4, 5) are lists of the Jews of the city of Lutsk grouped by year of birth (from 1883 through 1902); a logbook of births, marriages, and deaths among the Jewish population of the city for 1931-32; lists of candidates from Jewish associations for city council deputy for electoral districts 3-5 (with voter lists attached) for 1934; files on the real estate of the Karaite religious community of the city of Lutsk and of Jewish organisations and institutions of the city, including the Jewish hospital, the M. Glicklich High School [gimnaziia], the Society for the Protection of the Health of the Jewish Population in Poland (TOZ), and the water-sports marina of the Jewish athletic club Hasmonea, the materials of which contain notary documents on right of ownership, designs for the construction of buildings and structures and records of their inspection, correspondence with the municipality’s technical department (1926-38), etc.
- Administrative/biographical history:
- This was established pursuant to an order (14 August 1919) of the general commissar for the Eastern Territories. The municipality’s functions included drawing up and executing the city budget, collecting taxes from the population, overseeing city sanitation and public services, the construction of school and hospitals, etc. In 1934, it was renamed the municipal administration. It was liquidated in 1939.
