Annopol’skii, a teacher at the Belaia Tserkov’ Jewish School who was allegedly neglecting to perform religious rituals, with the result that local Jews did not wish to send their children to this school (1851). There are also documents of M. N. Mitlin’s Belaia Tserkov’ Jewish Women’s High School from 1917-19, including an admissions book and logs of six main and two preparatory classes (with biographical information on pupils: date of birth, religious confession, estate [soslovie], etc.).
- Administrative/biographical history:
- The fond combines documents pertaining to operations in Belaia Tserkov (Kiev province) of two secondary educational institutions: a state Russian women’s high school [gimnaziia] that until 1850 had been located in Vinnitsa; and the Jewish women’s high school of Dr. M. N. Mitlin, a private Jewish women’s educational institution apparently in operation from 1917-19.
