This collection comprises documents relating to the personal life of Aisik Libman between 1915 and 1942. He was one of the leaders in the society Vandrarföreningen Blau-Weiss (Hiking Society Blau-Weiss), and the documents are related to the bye-laws, histories, invitations, and receipts of membership fees from, for example, Vandrarföreningen Blau-Weiss, Föreningen Judisk Ungdom (Society of Jewish Youth), Judiska Akademiska Klubben (The Jewish Academic Club), Judiska hjälpsamhetsförbundet Rodef Chesed (The Jewish Help Society Rodef Chesed), Judiska föreningen för hjälp åt genom kriget nödlidande judar (The Jewish Society for aid to impoverished Jews in the war), Keren Kajemet, Skandinavisk-judiska ungdomsförbundet (The Scandinavian-Jewish Youth Society), and Svenska Zionistiska föreningen i Stockholm (The Swedish Zionist Society in Stockholm). Some of the documents are typewritten and hand-written letters from the societies mentioned above, mainly written in Swedish.
The collection also includes entrance tickets to social events, such as the Purim ball at Judiska Vandrarföreningen Blau-Weiss in 1920, the Chanukka children’s party at Judiska Vandrarföreningen Blau-Weiss in 1919, the Purim party at Svenska Zionistföreningen i Stockholm in 1919, the masquerade at Judiska Vandrarföreningen Blau-Weiss in 1923, and the soirée at Judiska föreningen för hjälp åt genom kriget nödlidande judar in 1916. These tickets give information on dates, venues, time, price, ticket number, and to what social cause the profits are donated. There are also programmes from social events, such as: the 5-year jubilee of Judiska Vandrarföreningen Blau-Weiss, the recitation matinee from Deutsches Theater in Berlin in 1923, the Chanukka party at Judiska Vandrarföreningen Blau-Weiss, the 60 years jubilee supper of Rodef Chesed in 1929, the 10 years jubilee of Judiska akademiska klubben in 1928, and the fifth congress at Skandinavisk-judiska ungdomsförbundet in 1923. These programmes hold information on the date, time, place, the musical, recital or entertaining performances and their creators, and the performers and musicians.
The collection also contains historical reflections written by Aisik Libman about Judiska Vandrarföreningen Blau-Weiss, printed in the societal journal of Judiska Vandrarföreningen Blau-Weiss. These reflections often include photographs of people who were important for Judiska Vandrarföreningen Blau-Weiss, and are some five pages long each. They are written in Swedish.
