- The fonds comprises documents created by the provost's office, official books, files, economic material, and material concerning associations and fraternities. Information on Jews can be found in the following documents: inv. no. 65 Register matters (birth reports, birth and baptismal certificates, wedding protocols, announcements, dispensation applications, marriage certificates, death certificates, Jewish registers - extracts from registers, protocols on entries in Jewish registers renovated after a fire, excerpts from registers for genealogical research) 1838-1955; inv. no. 63 Changes in religion and leaving church 1908-1921, 1922-51.
- Archival history:
- The fonds of the Provost's Office of Poděbrady and the documents of the vicariate of Poděbrady were stored in the parish office. They were transferred to the Nymburk district archives in 1959. The two fonds were separated, processed in 2004-2005, and inventoried.
- Administrative/biographical history:
- The first record of the parish church dates from 1352. In the 19th century, the Vicariate of Poděbrady was reorganised and adapted to the area of the district governor's office.
