- Archival history:
- In the summer of 1945, the newly established DNC of Poděbrady took over some current documents from the registry of its predecessor, the Nymburk District Office, which concerned its territory and thus fell within its agenda. In the second half of the 1940s, national committees took over several series from various previous offices. The fonds, stored in the State District Archives Nymburk, seated in Lysá nad Labem, was organised and provided with an inventory in 2004-2008.
- Administrative/biographical history:
- The former Poděbrady district office ceased to exist in 1942. It was not restored after 1945 and a new office was established, the district national committee, whose administrative area was identical to the pre-war area of the former district office. The office gradually began to take over the agendas from the district national committee of Nymburk. The individual bodies of the office included the plenary, the council, the presidency and the commissions. It was headed by the chairman elected by the council.
