- Administrative/biographical history:
- The first record of the town of Křivsoudov dates from 1276. It was promoted to a market town in 1382. In the 19th century, the princes of Auersperg became the owners of Křivsoudov. They held it until nationalisation after World War II. The affairs of the town were administered by a regulated municipality office (1789-1850). In 1850, the municipal office was established, which was replaced in 1945 by the local national committee. The town was part of the court district of Dolní Kralovice.
