- Archival history:
- The town archives were stored at the town hall. They were handled inappropriately, so there were losses and damage. The town privileges are illegible or they were burned. Parts of the fonds were repeatedly moved, and after 1957 the fonds was processed (the archival finding aid number 1520). In 1993, the fonds was inventoried in the archives of the city of Hradec Králové.
- Administrative/biographical history:
- The first record of the town of Třebechovice is from the 14th century. After 1849, it ceased to be a town of the Opočno manor and became a free town. The town was managed by the mayor and the municipal council. In 1861, the elections were held on the basis of the amount of direct taxes paid. The elections were held after three years and 24 municipal representatives were elected. From 1898, 30 (24 municipal representatives and 6 councillors) were elected. From 1919, there were 7 councillors. The 30-member municipal council was elected after 3 years, and until 1945 the system did not change. In 1945, a national revolutionary committee was established in the town of Třebechovice pod Orebem.
